NASHUA, NH – velocityHUB, a leading provider of business consulting and professional training services, has recently completed their 3rd consecutive year partnering with Brown University to deliver velocityHUB’s collegiate leadership program, the Victory Academy. This fall, the Victory team worked with over 300 rising student-athlete leaders and team captains.
Brown University, well known for their academic prowess, boasts the 2nd largest athletic department in the country with 38 varsity sports and the largest women’s athletic program nationally with 21 varsity sports. Through the Victory Academy partnership, the Brown Athletic Department has shown their continued commitment to their vision of building “whole” student-athletes.
Select Brown student-athletes gathered for workshops and captains’ councils on leadership in sports and business. They were given tools and strategies to overcome challenges, improve team productivity and become confident leaders. (NASHUA, NH) – Victory Academy has kicked off the academic year with a bang! In the month of September, the Victory team is proud to partner with eight prestigious institutions. Each partnership is unique and the design of each academy varies by school. The Victory team has worked with student leaders, emerging leader student-athletes, athletic captains and coaches. Engaging sessions have already been held at Connecticut College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Lawrence Academy, Westfield State University, Bishop Guertin High School and Brown University.
While various different workshops have been conducted, one theme is constant: All students are challenged to build a foundation for leadership. (NASHUA, NH) – On Monday, July 25th, Velocity Performance, a leading provider of business consulting & professional training services, partnered the prestigious Pingree School to bring leadership strategies to twelve of its top administrators.
Tim Johnson, Head of School, stated, “Kristen and Brendan recently presented their leadership framework to Pingree’s administrative team during our annual summer retreat. With a few new members joining our group this year, it was the perfect time to revisit a shared definition of leadership. Kristen and Brendan did not disappoint. (NASHUA, NH) – Over the past 2 days, the Victory team held a unique Lacrosse and Leadership Academy at Rivier University for youth and high school female student-athletes. The young student-athletes were motivated to build individual leadership plans and were challenged to increase their level of commitment in school and in lacrosse. The academy focused on key actions to consider and apply to daily commitments as students, athletes, teammates and active community members. On the field, the athletes were given college level instruction and learned new, innovation skills to take their game to the next level.
Many of the participants found the academy to be impactful and rewarding:

(NASHUA, NH) – Over the past 3 weeks, the Victory Academy has worked with 10 girls lacrosse programs and over 500 student-athletes from southern New Hampshire, to inspire leadership on and off the lacrosse field. The young students were motivated to build individual leadership plans and were challenged to increase their level of commitment in school and lacrosse. The unique program, ‘Becoming Your Best Athlete,’ focuses on 8 key actions to consider and apply to daily commitments as students, athletes, teammates and active community members.
